Donation Back to Normandy

Why I should donate?

We do care!

Back to Normandy is online now for 14 years. It started by telling the story of D-day in 2003 with photos and films of commemorations in Normandy.

In the years after, the website developed a database with many records about WWII. At this moment Back to Normandy published about 140.000 records in 13.825 categories and many thousands of photos. It is not the end. An overview of the database: https://www.backtonormandy.org/the-history.html

To get an idea what Back to Normandy is doing now, please read this: https://www.backtonormandy.org/help.html

Back to Normandy also helps other people in their (re)search. By publishing their stories, their requests or comments (https://www.backtonormandy.org/comments) to existing publications. You can read testimonials here (https://www.backtonormandy.org/testimonials) about Back to Normandy and my work as a composer (music inspired by D-day).

Back to Normandy will continue this work. Hopefully with your help.

What your money supports?

Your donation will be spent for the maintenance of the website: renting a server, buying software and yearly renewing licenses for that software. Only that.

Is there an easy way to make a donation, preferably without having to create a login?

Yes you can by using Paypal or in the Netherlands Ideal. No information (except the name you give) will be stored on the website. Be sure that Back to Normandy won’t rent or sell my information to other charities.
