79 aircraft (including O.T.U. aircraft) attacked many targets, the largest effort being by 12 Wellingtons which bombed Emden and 11 Wellingtons which reached and bombed Berlin. 2 Wellingtons lost.

. Eleven Wellingtons reached the target and incendiary bombs set fire to the roof of this elegant block of flats in the Wilmersdorf district.
