The story

COLOGNE

---

6 Hampdens to Brest and 6 Hampdens on cloud-cover raids to Germany. The Brest raid was abandoned but 3 aircraft of the second force bombed targets in Germany. 1 Hampden sent to Gelsenkirchen was lost.

---

BREST
18 Wellingtons and 6 Stirlings; bombing results were obscured by Flak and search-fights. No aircraft lost.
Dunkirk
6 Wellingtons and 3 Stirlings bombed Dunkirk without loss.
