The story

GERMANY, FRANCE
77 aircraft to many targets; the largest raid was by 24 Wellingtons to Gelsenkirchen but only 6 aircraft reached that target. Because of bad weather, only 19 of all aircraft dispatched bombed their primary targets. 1 Whitley lost.

GERMANY
72 Hampdens, Wellingtons and Whitleys to 5 targets. 1 Hampden was mistakenly shot down by a Spitfire soon after its take-off. A further Hampden and a Whitley were lost. Only 15 aircraft reached primary targets.
