COLOGNE, EMDEN, MANNHEIM, GENOA
104 aircraft to these targets were all recalled because of forecasts of fog at bases. 23 aircraft flew on and bombed various targets, including a solitary Wellington piloted by Sergeant Musalek of 311 (Polish) Squadron which reached and bombed Genoa. This aircraft returned safely but 1 Wellington was lost from the Emden raid and 4 more Wellingtons crashed in England.

24 Blenheims on escorted raids to Amiens railway yards, which were bombed, and to Mazingarbe power-station which was not bombed. No Blenheims lost.
