Alt Name: --. Opened: 1940. Status in 1944: RAF. 12 Grp. Fighter OTU. Current use: Agriculture. Remarks: Most of the airfield has reverted to farmland - the SW peri track is just recognisable. GA activity until 2005 but no recent news. Some dispersals and shelters visible but gradually succumbing to nature. Compton CPT VOR on airfield. (06/2005)
