Alt Name: --. Opened: 1935. Status in 1944: Inactive. Current use: Industry. Remarks: Two hangars and a Control Tower built in SW corner of airfield. Closed at start of war but reopened briefly in 1940 as Manston scatter field. Reopened Jul. 27th 1953 and finally closed in 1968. Now site for large industrial estate with housing on remaining ground.
