Alt Name: --. Opened: 1942. Status in 1944: RAF. 92 Grp. Bomber OTU. Current use: Disused. Remarks: Rocket Propulsion Establishment. In the mid-late 70's was merged with ERDE Waltham Abbey. One runway was still in periodic use for crop dusting. The site is still in use as a secure light industrial site and little change to the airfield has been made. (5/2006)
