On 1940-09-15, Pilot Arthur McCloud Yuile (Flying Officer, RCAF) service number C/1328, flew Hurricane I serial L1973 for this duty: Patrol. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: shot down by Bf-109, aircraft abandoned over West malling, Kent. This aircraft was a part of unit: 1 RCAF (renumbered 401 in March 1941). Circumstances at the end of this mission for Yuile: he was wounded, parachuted to safety.
