The story

On 1945-04-14, Pilot J G S J Livingstone (Flight Lieutenant, RCAF) servicenumber J/85932 flew Typhoon Ib serial JR294 for this duty: Recce. Spun into ground a few miles from B.78 Eindhoven on return from bombing mission while orbiting field for landing, possibly due to flak damage suffered during mission. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 438.  Circumstances at the end of this mission for Livingstone: he was killed. He is commemorated at: Reichswald Forest War Cemetery Germany.
