On 1941-07-03, Pilot M K McHugh (Sergeant, RNZAF) with servicenumber NZ.401281 flew a Spitfire V with serial R7293 for this duty: Circus 30. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Failed to return. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 611. The location for the map is the English Channel. Circumstances at the end of this mission for McHugh: he was killed. He is commemorated at: Longuenesse (St. Omer) Souvenir Cemetery, France.
