The story
On 1940-05-24, Pilot J W B Phillips (Sergeant, RAF) with an unknown servicenumber, flew a Spitfire I with serial P9388 for this duty: Patrol Calais. His mission was not completed. Circumstances of the aircraft loss: Force landed, France. This aircraft was a part of squadron no. 54. The location for the map is, France, France. Circumstances at the end of this mission for Phillips: he was safe. There is no commemoration location known.
