The story

At the date of 18-10-1944, time: 09h15, Hawker Typhoon serial MN555 (squadron code F3-Z) crash landed in a field after its engine seized, belly landed behind enemy lines. Pilot captured and taken to a POW camp untill the end of the War. The location of the plane was found at: Angerlo (SW Doesburg). The unit of the crew and plane is: 438 Sqdn. First flyer rank: Flying Officer, name: Victor Ernest McMann, service number J/13598. The plane belonged to the Allied forces.
