The story
De laatste actie van de brigade vindt plaats in april 1945 bij Hedel, ten noorden van 's Hertogenbosch. De inname van het dorpje moet een bruggenhoofd over de Maas vormen en een toegang tot de Bommelerwaard. Na vier dagen van felle strijd moet de brigade terugtrekken want de gehele operatie wordt door de Britse commandant afgelast. De voorbereiding van de Duitse capitulatie is begonnen.
