The story
8th Infantry Brigade (UK) had to remain in area Weert with under command of the 76th Field Regiment RA and patrol Maastricht Canal to assist 3 Reconnaissance Regiment RAC in event of enemy penetration of canal South of rd. 61 Medical Regiment in support of 185th and the 9th Infantry Brigade (UK) in Phases I and II. 2 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA deployed to protect Asten brigade and division Headquarters.
