The story
A rare photo of a dead unknown crewmember of the RAF.
This photo was taken somewhere in the summer of 1942. His plane was crashed in the IJsselmeer, Holland.
Hundreds of airplanes have crashed in the IJsselmeer on their way to or from Germany.
