The story
My father was a sergeant in the 811th Ordnance Depot Company during WW2, James M. Harrison, stationed in England and France he said. I have a photo of the whole company from the time, a few photos of my father there, as well as letters sent out for the annual reunion of the 811th in the 1970 and 1980s in Waynesville, North Carolina that my father received, and went to every year.
My father, Sgt. James M. Harrison is in the middle row, from right to left, the 12th person.
