Avro Lancaster III (NE117 PM-J) on a mission to Stuttgart on 1944-07-29

On Friday, 28 July 1944, (a part of) the aircraft of the 103 squadron (RAF), took off for a mission to Stuttgart in Germany from a station (airfield) in or near Elsham Wolds.
One of the crew members was Flight Lieutenant E Broadbent. He departed for his mission at 21:06.
He flew with a Avro Lancaster (type III, with serial NE117 and code PM-J). His mission and of the other crew members was planned for Saturday, 29 July 1944.

My great uncle Derrick was on this bomber and died on it too he was a Sgt Rear Gunner
