Greetings - My Dad was a paratrooper with the 82nd airborne in Normandy. I'm trying to figure out why his Ike jacket has a Seventh Army insignia on the sleeve. After being wounded in the bulge in Jan. '45 he was in the hospital until May and then sent to a bakery unit until returning home in October. Looks like the 3011 Bakery Company, and perhaps others, was attached to the Seventh Army in May of that year. Just wondering if there's a roster of those in the outfit from that time. Any kn
