Give them back their names

In Dronten, Holland between 15 to 20 aircraft (perhaps even more) crashed with their crews during World War II. The planes were on their way or coming back from a mission against the Nazi regime. Some of the crew members survived, but there are also dozens of airmen who had to pay for our freedom with their lives.

The names of most airmen are known. Even with their photo.

Now there is a monument in Dronten which has no names of these airmen.

The following video explains why these airmen should be well remembered by their name, rank, date of death on that beautiful but now empty monument. In the video, you see the faces of these young men, somewhere between 20 and 30 years. And the story of how these aircraft were preserved.

Please sent an email to [email protected]  to encourage the Mayor to correct this injustice for these airmen.
