Alt Name: --. Opened: 1942. Status in 1944: RAF. 91 Grp. Bomber OTU. Current use: Test track. Remarks: One runway and section of another marked up with motorway type markings, as is some peritrack. Buildings also remain. The airfield was one of the first V bomber training bases. It is now a vehicle test track and design centre. There is also a car museum section. The track is now owned by the Ford motor company since the BMW sell off of Rover.
