Airborne at 1708 hours, 13 January 1943 from Syerston. shot down by a night-fighter and crashed 1940 hours, 13 January 1943 near Apeldoorn (Hoog Soeren, Gelderland), The Netherlands Crew consisted of P/O David MacLeod Crozier, Flight Lieutenant (Pilot) Everard Frank Healey, DFC, DFM, Sergeant (Flt. Engr.) Alexander Dunbar, Flying Officer (Nav.) John Ray Pennington, DFC, Flying Officer (W.Op./Air Gnr.) Michael Hope Lumley, Sergeant (Air Gnr.) Caspar Harold Jurgensen and Sergeant (Air Gnr.) Frank John Edwards.
