was airborne from RAF Church Fenton, UK for an "Intruder-patrol"
The DZ689 equipped with four 20mm cannon and four.303in Browning machine guns
and powered with Rolls-Royce Merlin 21 and 23 engines flew direction Holland
Near Sneek the DZ689 was shot down and crashed on the west bank of the Sneekermeer
