1944-06-07 Linkup | Secure bridgehead
On the beaches of Normandy, the bridgehead conquered by the Allies is still fragile.
To secure the coast and prevent German reinforcements from reaching Normandy, the Allies bomb the traffic junctions and main Norman towns within a radius of 250 km from the beaches.
