SAUL BRIDGE Class 40 Bailey Pontoon Bridge Over Biver Seine at Vernon.
The total length of this bridge was 736 ft, excluding ramps, and comprised two 110 ft 6 in landing bays, two 31 ft 6 in end floating bays and one 32 ft floating bay.
The bridge was constructed by the three Field Companies and the Field Park Coy of 15 (Kent) GHQ Troops Engineers on 28th and 29th August, 1944.
